@iamangiesavage Replying to @jadacarter8321 I agree that this isn't over!! But the The governor isn't the only person that shapes our counties or state. Its our state legislators that actually write the laws. We talk A LOT about Crowley vs. Tiffany. But if you care about data centers, education, housing, abortion rights, taxes, public safety, healthcare—or honestly ANY policy issue—there's another group of people you need to be paying attention to: YOUR STATE LEGISLATORS. The Wisconsin Legislature writes, debates, amends and votes on legislation—and then the governor gets a chance to sign or veto it. And we've already seen this play out with data centers. Wisconsin lawmakers introduced multiple proposals dealing with data-center development, energy costs, water use, infrastructure and more. Some passed one chamber but didn't become law. So this November, I don't just want to talk about who's running for governor. I want to know who's running for YOUR Assembly and Senate seats. What do they believe? What have they actually done? What bills have they supported? How have they voted? And what do they say they'll do if elected? Because sometimes we treat elections like we're only voting for the person at the top of the ticket. But your ballot is full of people who can shape the laws you live under every day. So I'm starting a Wisconsin voter guide—district by district—to help us actually get to know the people asking for our votes. First up: DATA CENTERS. 👀 And then we're going beyond them. Know your ballot. Know your lawmakers. Know your power. #wisconsin #datacenter #civic #politicstiktok #democracy ♬ original sound - Angie S. | MKE
